We are looking for a Compliance Officer and MLRO based right here in Senegal to join our dynamic global team. This fully remote position lets you work from anywhere in Senegal while serving as our primary compliance contact for the WAEMU and BCEAO zone. You will play a vital role in managing our banking relationships, maintaining local regulatory compliance, and driving internal reporting forward.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the Know Your Customer onboarding process for new clients and update existing ones across Senegal.
Ensure strict adherence to local and international regulatory standards covering customer identification, including BCEAO and CENTIF directives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local financial partners and regulatory bodies.
Lead internal compliance reporting and tackle complex regulatory challenges from day one.

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Compliance Officer or MLRO within the financial or fintech sector in Senegal.
Deep understanding of BCEAO regulations, CENTIF guidelines, and WAEMU compliance frameworks.
Strong background in KYC onboarding and risk mitigation strategies.
Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment while collaborating seamlessly with a global team.
