Overview

At Playson, we build premium casino games and platform solutions that reach millions of players across regulated markets worldwide. We ship frequently, which means our certification and compliance evidence has to be just as well engineered as the games themselves. We are looking for a Compliance Engineer to join our team on a fully remote basis from anywhere in the world. In this role, you will own the technical side of our compliance engineering, building pipelines that let us ship faster and safer while defending our platform in front of testing labs, ISO assessors, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Build and continuously evolve a secure compliance pipeline to accelerate safe deployments for games and platform changes.
Stand in front of game certification labs and technical auditors to walk them through our codebase, builds, and evidence.
Drive ISO certification efforts for our systems and handle the technical evidence work leading into future SOC 2 audits.
Bridge the gap between engineering and regulatory requirements by automating compliance checks and producing airtight proof.
Collaborate closely with internal development teams to ensure new features meet strict global regulatory standards right from the start.

Requirements

Strong background in software development with a genuine interest in systems security, compliance, and regulatory engineering.
Demonstrated experience working with certification labs, technical auditors, or managing compliance frameworks like ISO and SOC 2.
Ability to read and write code, build robust pipelines, and translate complex technical architecture into clear auditor proof.
Comfortable acting as the technical face of the company when dealing with external regulators and rigorous testing bodies.
Self driven mindset with the ability to thrive working independently in a fully distributed, global remote environment.
