About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the development of high-quality multimedia content that highlights the organization's projects and community impact. By producing, editing, and publishing compelling visual and audio materials, you will enhance the organization's visibility, drive engagement, and align digital outputs with overall communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Multimedia Content Development: Create engaging photos, videos, graphics, and animations for social media, reports, campaigns, and events.
Field Storytelling: Capture impactful field footage and conduct interviews with key beneficiaries, staff, and external stakeholders.
Professional Editing: Edit video and photographic materials to professional standards with a strong emphasis on storytelling.
Digital Campaign Support: Create compelling visual assets to support fundraising, advocacy, and awareness campaigns.
Capacity Building: Train field staff on basic multimedia capture techniques, including photography and video guidelines.
Asset Management: Maintain an organized digital library with proper metadata tagging, usage rights, and copyright consent compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Digital Communications, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in communications, content creation, or digital marketing (preferably within NGOs, media organizations, or social impact environments).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, and experience operating DSLR cameras and audio equipment.
Tools: Familiarity with social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite) and basic analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights) is highly advantageous.
Soft Skills: Strong writing and visual storytelling abilities, creative thinking, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of branding and ethical visual communication.
