About the Role
As a Commissioning Engineer / Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing of complex engineering projects. You will leverage your extensive industry background to oversee systemization, manage punch lists, coordinate with vendors, and ensure seamless project handovers. MTES is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence, and our leadership team relies on experts who can drive projects forward with precision and technical acumen.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Commissioning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans from pre-commissioning checks to final handover.
- Technical Oversight: Utilize strong knowledge of P&IDs, loop checks, and commissioning procedures to troubleshoot and solve complex site issues.
- Project Close-Out: Manage documentation, reporting, punch listing, and systemization efficiently.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate effectively with vendors and interface partners.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
- Experience: 8 to 12+ years of hands-on experience in the commissioning of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Mandatory Certifications
- First Aid & CPR
- H2S Alive
- Permit to Work (PTW)
- OEM Training (Preferred)
- Vendor Equipment Certification (Preferred)
