Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a CNC Operator, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Establishing and maintaining the highest standards of safety and 5S protocols within the workshop.
Interpreting complex manufacturing drawings and translating them into precise production outcomes.
Programming CNC machines and producing G-code using Manual methods or MasterCAM/similar software.
Setting and operating CNC machinery for drilling, grinding, milling, and turning tasks.
Supervising machine execution and performing real-time adjustments to ensure optimal output.
Conducting quality inspections to verify finished products against technical specifications.
Leading cost-saving initiatives by reducing waste and extending the lifespan of precision tools.
Collaborating on root cause analysis and design reviews to improve overall product quality.
Performing daily maintenance and cleaning to ensure machine reliability.

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

A minimum of an HND or B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or a related equivalent qualification.
Proven experience working in an engineering workshop with CNC machinery.
At least 5 years of hands-on fabrication experience specifically using FANUC controls.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software; experience with Autodesk Inventor is considered a strong advantage.
