Overview

As our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you will own the entire enterprise security strategy, risk management framework, and compliance initiatives for the FAL Group of companies within Fortive. This group comprises Accruent, Gordian, and ServiceChannel, all leading SaaS and data platform companies specializing in the Facilities and Asset Lifecycle space. You'll report directly to the Chief Digital and Services Officer at Accruent, maintaining regular visibility and dotted line accountability to the executive teams across all three operating companies, as well as to Fortive's broader security and IT leadership. This is a fully remote opportunity, open to exceptional talent from anywhere in the world, offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location while making a global impact.

Key Responsibilities

Define and continuously evolve the overarching enterprise security strategy, risk management, and compliance programs for the FAL Group.
Lead the charge in protecting sensitive customer data across all platforms and operating companies.
Drive compliance readiness initiatives, directly enabling enterprise sales and fostering trust with our global customer base.
Architect and implement a robust security program designed to scale seamlessly with the rapid growth trajectory of each company.
Develop and manage operating company specific security strategies and programs, ensuring alignment with Fortive's baseline posture and policies while meeting unique business needs.
Serve as a key strategic advisor, bridging technical security leadership with critical business objectives.
Oversee incident response protocols, ensuring swift and effective resolution for any security events.
Regularly present clear, concise assessments of our security risk posture to executive teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

Over 10 years of progressive experience in information security leadership, with a significant portion in a senior management or CISO equivalent role.
Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise security strategies and programs for SaaS or data platform companies.
Profound understanding of various security frameworks, risk management methodologies, and global compliance regulations, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA.
Strong technical acumen across diverse security domains, encompassing cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), application security, data protection, and incident response.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging with all levels of an organization, from technical teams to executive leadership.
A proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing security teams within a dynamic, multi-company environment.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, comfortable navigating complex technical challenges and translating them into business-driven solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
