About the Role

Aero Alliance is currently undertaking a transformative project to elevate the Akanu Ibiam International Airport into a world-class, globally competitive aviation hub. As the Chief Engineering & Infrastructure Officer, you will serve as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic leadership over the airport's engineering assets, utilities, and infrastructure lifecycle management. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives on leading large-scale capital projects and ensuring operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with the airport's vision for modernization and long-term resilience.
Operations Management: Oversee airfield infrastructure, terminal facilities, and technical services, ensuring uninterrupted and safe airport operations.
Capital Development: Lead major infrastructure modernization programs and innovative engineering initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to ICAO Standards, Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (NCARs), and environmental safety protocols.
Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned executive with a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen. The ideal candidate will possess:

Academic Excellence: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Structural, or Industrial Engineering. A Master’s degree (MBA or Engineering Management) is highly desirable.
Professional Credentials: Must be registered with COREN and hold active membership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role managing complex infrastructure or large-scale engineering operations.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in aviation, transportation, oil & gas, or other regulated infrastructure sectors is a significant advantage.
