Key Responsibilities: Driving Growth and Forging Partnerships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Proactively research and pinpoint emerging market trends, untapped sectors, and potential clients to generate a robust pipeline for company expansion.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships: Cultivate lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with essential suppliers, valued clients, and strategic partners, ensuring Kaplo Africa remains their preferred partner.
- Source, negotiate, and secure supplier contracts: Strategically identify and engage with potential suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and securing contracts that align perfectly with Kaplo’s business objectives and service delivery standards.
- Conduct market research: Continuously monitor the industry landscape, analyze competitor activities, and identify potential business opportunities to ensure Kaplo Africa remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations: Articulate Kaplo’s value proposition clearly and persuasively through tailored proposals and engaging presentations that captivate potential partners and clients.
- Negotiate contract terms and close business deals: Masterfully negotiate advantageous contract terms, demonstrating exceptional sales acumen to successfully close deals and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work seamlessly with various internal departments to ensure the flawless execution of client and supplier engagements, guaranteeing high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain long-term business relationships: Consistently engage with clients and partners post-contract to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and foster enduring relationships built on trust and reliability.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects and provide regular business development reports: Systematically track and manage all sales leads and prospects, providing accurate and insightful reports on business development activities and progress toward targets.
- Represent the company professionally: Act as an ambassador for Kaplo Africa at meetings, networking events, and other business engagements, upholding our reputation for excellence and professionalism.
What We're Looking For: Your Profile for Success
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, procurement, or relationship management roles.
- Gender Preference: Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Communication & Negotiation: Demonstrated strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, essential for building rapport and closing deals.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate and sustain robust business relationships with diverse stakeholders.
