The Role
As our Business Development Officer, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy. You will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and securing high-value contracts. This role is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable navigating the complexities of the EPC and Oil & Gas landscape and possesses the strategic mindset to turn market insights into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and proactively pursue new business opportunities to expand our market share.
- Develop and nurture strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Lead the creation of compelling proposals and facilitate the contract acquisition process.
- Utilize market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure our solutions consistently meet and exceed client expectations.
- Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, meetings, and high-level engagements.
Who We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience specifically within the EPC or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- A strong track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales and revenue targets.
- High levels of commercial awareness and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
