Overview

Axiom is actively seeking seasoned legal professionals specializing in banking, finance, and derivatives to become integral members of our dynamic global network. You will partner with premier clients across the financial services sector, providing expert counsel on a diverse array of complex financial transactions. This includes everything from corporate and structured lending to sophisticated treasury and liquidity management, OTC derivatives, ISDA documentation, and navigating the ever evolving landscape of financial regulations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with banks, investment firms, asset managers, multinational corporates, and other market participants on sophisticated domestic and cross border transactions, delivering commercially focused legal solutions in fast paced, high value environments. Key Responsibilities

Advise leading financial institutions and corporate clients on a broad spectrum of intricate banking, finance, treasury, and derivatives matters.
Provide strategic legal guidance across diverse areas, including corporate and structured lending, cross border transactions, financial markets, and comprehensive risk management activities.
Expertly draft, review, negotiate, and manage complex financing and trading documentation, such as loan agreements, security arrangements, ISDA documentation, collateral agreements, and guarantees.
Guide clients through intricate financial regulatory requirements and assist in developing robust risk management frameworks.
Collaborate effectively with a wide range of market participants on high value domestic and international transactions.
Deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal solutions within demanding, high paced environments.

Requirements

A minimum of 7+ years of dedicated legal experience in banking, finance, and derivatives, gained within a top tier law firm or a prominent in house legal department at a financial institution.
Demonstrated expertise in corporate lending, structured finance, OTC derivatives, and ISDA documentation.
Profound understanding of financial markets, treasury functions, and the relevant global regulatory landscapes.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Admitted to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
A proven ability to provide practical, business oriented legal advice under pressure.
Outstanding client communication, relationship building, and presentation abilities.
