As a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our core platform, designing and implementing features that directly impact how finance teams interact with our AI-powered ERP system. You will contribute to a product that is disrupting a decades-old industry and solving real problems for thousands of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services for our AI-native ERP platform.
Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and AI/ML specialists to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, primarily in Python or Go, ensuring maintainability and adherence to best practices.
Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, helping to shape the future direction of our backend systems.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise.
Integrate with various internal and third-party services, ensuring robust data flow and security.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and upholding high code quality standards.

Requirements

More than three years of professional experience in backend software development.
Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Python or Go.
Demonstrated experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL, and experience with data modeling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems.
Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced remote team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
A strong desire to learn new technologies and contribute to a rapidly evolving product.
