Overview

Talent Sam is expanding our engineering group and seeking a motivated Back-End Developer. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity allowing you to work from anywhere on the planet. You will own the server side logic, shape our API ecosystem, and optimize database performance to ensure our users get a seamless experience every single time they interact with our platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable server side applications and robust APIs.
Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and cross functional engineers to deliver secure solutions.
Manage and optimize relational and non relational databases for peak performance and data integrity.
Integrate third party services and follow modern software development best practices.
Troubleshoot, test, and continuously improve code quality across all environments.

Requirements

Proven professional background as a Back-End Developer or Software Engineer.
Strong proficiency in at least one modern language such as Node.js, Python, Java, C#, PHP, Go, or Ruby.
Solid experience creating RESTful APIs and connecting external services.
Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate effectively across time zones.
