As a Director Analyst within Gartner's Assurance Practice, you step into a pivotal position designed for true thought leaders. Your work will directly impact world-leading organizations by providing must-have insights, strategic market predictions, and best practices. You will leverage your deep research and analytical skills to produce pragmatic, often provocative insights that our diverse client base consumes and applies to drive their businesses forward. Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of cutting-edge research and analysis on best practices in audit planning and risk coverage.
Serve as a primary advisor to Chief Audit Executives and their teams, offering expert guidance on complex internal audit challenges.
Author compelling written content, including research notes, reports, and presentations, that provide actionable insights to clients.
Engage clients through a variety of interactions: virtual meetings, in-person discussions, sales support visits, and major Gartner conferences.
Facilitate and lead internal discussions among fellow analysts, fostering collaborative knowledge sharing and insight generation.
Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging risks to ensure Gartner's research remains at the forefront of the internal audit profession.

Requirements

Significant professional experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related assurance function, ideally in a leadership or senior advisory capacity.
Demonstrated expertise in audit planning methodologies, risk assessment frameworks, and comprehensive risk coverage strategies.
Exceptional analytical, research, and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
