Key Responsibilities

Manage Caseloads: Strategically oversee a diverse portfolio of insurance defense cases, from initial assessment through to resolution.
Conduct Research and Analysis: Perform in-depth legal research and analysis to develop compelling case strategies and provide sound advice.
Draft Legal Documents: Prepare precise and persuasive pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and other crucial legal correspondence.
Represent Clients: Advocate for clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations, demonstrating strong oral advocacy skills.
Client Communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Trial Preparation: Actively participate in all aspects of trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and strategic planning.
Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, fostering a team-oriented approach to litigation.

Requirements

We are searching for a highly qualified individual who meets the following criteria:

Active California Bar License: A current and active bar license in the State of California is absolutely essential for this role.
Educational Background: Possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Litigation Experience: Demonstrated experience in insurance defense litigation, showcasing a solid understanding of civil procedure and trial practice.
Exceptional Legal Acumen: Exhibit superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills, capable of dissecting complex legal issues.
Communication Prowess: Possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities, fostering effective interactions with clients, colleagues, and the judiciary.
