As an Associate Accountant, you will join our exceptional Accounting team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting, in a pivotal role for our continued success.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your contributions will be crucial to our financial operations. You will:

Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met with precision.
Process and review employee expense reports, verifying compliance with company policies.
Participate in audit preparation, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
Identify and recommend improvements for accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate effectively with various departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting principles and internal controls.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who brings a blend of foundational expertise and a proactive attitude. Ideal qualifications include:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least one to three years of progressive experience in an accounting role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of GAAP generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel advanced functions, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Prior experience with an ERP system NetSuite is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting.
