The Role

As an Assistant Utility Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our plant operations run without interruption. You will be responsible for the hands-on operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical utility equipment. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an FMCG or manufacturing setting and is committed to operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain air compressors and pump systems.
Assist in the operation and maintenance of chillers, cooling systems, and Thermax Vapour Absorption Machines (VAM).
Perform routine inspections and promptly report technical faults.
Manage centrifugal pumps to ensure optimal performance.
Support Water Treatment Plant (WTP) operations.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Ensure full compliance with safety and environmental protocols.
Maintain detailed operational and maintenance records.

Requirements

Academic Qualification: B.Tech, B.Sc., OND, or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Location: Must reside in or near Sagamu.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in air compressors, chillers, VAM systems, WTP, and centrifugal pumps.
Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, proactive maintenance mindset, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
