About the Role
As an Assistant Surveyor at AIG, you will play a critical role in our infrastructure and site development projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all land and engineering surveys are conducted with the highest degree of accuracy, supporting our mission to foster sustainable growth within Nigeria's industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing comprehensive land and engineering surveys.
- Operate and maintain professional surveying instruments and equipment.
- Generate detailed survey reports, technical drawings, and precise field notes.
- Establish vital survey control points and execute accurate site layouts.
- Verify critical measurements and maintain meticulous records of all survey data.
- Collaborate closely with civil engineering and project teams to facilitate seamless site development.
- Guarantee compliance with project specifications and international safety standards.
Requirements
- Academic Qualification: OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 1 – 3 years of hands-on, relevant professional experience.
- Preferred Background: Prior exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments is highly desirable. Experience within the steel industry will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
