Role Overview

As the Assistant Manager for Quality Assurance, you will be the backbone of our quality management systems in Jos. Your technical expertise will ensure that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, durability, and comfort that our customers have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Raw Material Oversight: Manage the inspection and testing of critical chemical components, including Polyol, TDI, and various additives, ensuring they meet strict purity and moisture requirements.
• Production Monitoring: Lead In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) to maintain chemical formulation precision during foaming operations.
• Product Integrity: Direct the physical testing of finished foam blocks and products to ensure density and quality consistency.
• Lab Management: Maintain rigorous standards in the factory laboratory, ensuring all testing equipment is perfectly calibrated and operational.
• Problem Solving: Spearhead root cause analysis (RCA) for any manufacturing non-conformities and implement effective CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) protocols.
• Efficiency Improvement: Work alongside the production team to minimize waste and optimize material yield.

What We Are Looking For

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Professional Standing: Membership in professional bodies such as the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) or IPAN is highly desirable. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or ASQ qualifications will set you apart.
• Experience: 5–8 years of robust experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing setting.
