About the Role

Sun King, the global leader in off-grid solar energy solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Business Manager to join our team in Yauri, Kebbi State. With a mission to empower the 1.8 billion people currently living without reliable electricity, we have successfully reached over 82 million customers across 40 countries. As an Area Business Manager, you will be the driving force behind our 'EasyBuy' direct distribution model, overseeing sales, collections, and team management to ensure our sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of at least 40 Energy Officers. You will be responsible for their professional development and ensuring they maintain the highest standards of integrity.
Strategic Growth: Execute daily field visits, manage sales routes, and drive local engagement through market activations and community partnerships.
Sales & Collections: Take full accountability for meeting ambitious monthly sales and collection targets. You will implement robust processes to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up.
Operational Excellence: Manage inventory, marketing materials, and logistics within your designated area to maximize return on investment.
Customer Advocacy: Ensure world-class customer service by addressing installation, payment, and after-sales warranty queries within a 24-hour window.

Who You Are

We are looking for a professional who is passionate about renewable energy and social impact. You are a strong candidate if you possess:

A degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on sales experience.
Strong technical literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Exceptional skills in planning, organization, and stakeholder relationship management.
A proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to solve complex problems in the field.
Deep knowledge of the local territory and an ability to build meaningful rapport with community influencers.
