We are actively seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join our fully remote, worldwide team. This crucial role involves designing, building, and deploying AI-powered features that directly enhance our product experience and drive meaningful business results. You will be a hands-on, product-centric engineer, taking exciting ideas from initial concept all the way to production. This means you will design intelligent systems, validate them rigorously with real users, and then craft them into reliable, scalable services. You'll operate at the dynamic crossroads of AI, product development, and engineering, collaborating closely with diverse cross-functional teams to pinpoint high-impact opportunities, prototype solutions rapidly, and iterate based on insightful data. This is not a theoretical research position; you will own the entire lifecycle of your features, encompassing experimentation, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI models and intelligent systems that directly improve the Future product experience and achieve key business outcomes.
Take full ownership of the AI feature lifecycle, from initial ideation and prototyping through to development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to identify high-impact AI opportunities and integrate solutions seamlessly.
Conduct rapid experimentation and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and iterate on AI solutions based on user feedback and performance data.
Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable AI services and infrastructure that can support a growing user base and evolving product needs.
Continuously research and evaluate new AI technologies, methodologies, and tools to ensure Future remains at the forefront of personalized health guidance.
Contribute to defining the technical vision and strategy for AI within the company, helping to shape our long-term roadmap.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Applied AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role, with a strong track record of shipping AI-powered features into production environments.
Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model selection, training, evaluation, and deployment strategies.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python.
Experience with relevant AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, reliable, and performant backend services.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, design, and engineering teams.
A passion for health, wellness, and using technology to improve people's lives.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
