We are currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Aircraft Engineer specializing in the Embraer 190 (E1) and E195 (E2) platforms to join our elite maintenance team.
The Role
As an Aircraft Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering operations. You will be responsible for the assignment, execution, and certification of inspection, repair, and modification tasks. Your work will directly impact our scheduling integrity and ensure that our fleet continues to meet the highest global safety standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform and certify complex inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft systems.
- Manage daily task planning and provide leadership and task allocation for the technician team.
- Diagnose aircraft defects and ensure rectification in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding maintenance progress and aircraft status.
- Identify and requisition necessary spare parts while maintaining accurate maintenance records and aircraft history.
- Mentor and develop junior technicians to improve overall team competency.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, or Instrumentation).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of aircraft maintenance certifying experience.
- Technical Expertise: Must be type-rated on Embraer 195 E2 or Embraer 170/190 E1 series. Possession of both ratings is a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge: Strong grasp of aviation legislation, industrial safety standards, and human factors.
- Skills: Proficiency in MRO systems, technical data interpretation, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
