Key Responsibilities
- Drive significant improvements in throughput, latency, and cost efficiency across both training and inference workloads for large neural network systems.
- Engage in full-stack optimization efforts, spanning from low-level kernel tuning to high-level distributed system configuration.
- Apply a deep understanding of GPU architectures to optimize computational performance.
- Implement and refine model parallelism strategies to enhance the scalability and speed of AI workloads.
- Manage and optimize memory utilization effectively within complex AI systems.
- Utilize expertise in compiler-level optimizations to generate highly efficient code for AI applications.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of impacting production AI workloads through tangible performance enhancements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6+ years of professional experience specifically in AI optimization or a closely related field.
- Profound understanding of GPU architecture and its implications for AI performance.
- Expertise in model parallelism and distributed computing techniques for large-scale AI.
- Strong capabilities in memory management within high-performance computing environments.
- Solid experience with compiler-level optimization techniques.
- Demonstrable experience with production AI workloads and a history of delivering measurable performance improvements.
