Founded by Ali Vahabzadeh, a leader with a successful exit and extensive experience managing high-performing Go To Market and Engineering teams, Safari AI fosters an entrepreneurial and supportive culture. While our headquarters are in Miami and our engineering team is co-located in Vancouver, this particular role is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity. We’re a small, dynamic team of around 10 individuals, where your contributions make an immediate and significant impact.

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of critical AI deployment projects, from conception through to successful implementation and ongoing optimization.
Architect and implement robust, scalable, and efficient AI deployment pipelines for computer vision models.
Work closely with our AI research and development teams to transition models from prototype to production environments.
Innovate and explore novel approaches to ensure AI solutions deliver tangible, measurable ROI for our enterprise clients.
Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges related to AI infrastructure, performance, and reliability.
Contribute to defining best practices for AI model versioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Document technical designs, processes, and operational procedures thoroughly.

Requirements

Proven experience in deploying and managing AI/ML models in production environments, particularly within computer vision.
A strong sense of ownership and the ability to independently drive singular projects to completion.
A practical, results-oriented mindset focused on achieving measurable ROI with AI applications.
Proficiency with MLOps principles and tools for model monitoring, versioning, and scaling.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to understanding and addressing technical challenges.
A deep commitment to reading documentation and a willingness to seek clarification and assistance when needed.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment with a small, collaborative team.
