We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Aftersales Technical Engineer to join our team and help ensure our renewable energy systems perform at their peak.
The Role
As an Aftersales Technical Engineer, you will be the backbone of our post-installation support operations. Your primary mission will be to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our solar PV and hybrid energy systems. By bridging the gap between our technology and the end-user, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and guaranteeing maximum system reliability across our project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers for installed solar PV and hybrid energy infrastructure.
- Perform critical preventive and corrective maintenance on inverters, batteries, and solar hardware.
- Diagnose complex technical faults using industry-standard tools and implement effective resolutions.
- Lead the commissioning process for new systems to ensure seamless operational start-up.
- Conduct site inspections and produce detailed reports to track performance metrics.
- Educate clients on safe operation protocols and best practices for system maintenance.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical capabilities to solve real-world technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable customer advice.
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to project locations as required.
