The Opportunity

AssetWatch is actively seeking a high-caliber Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. You will play a crucial, hands-on part in managing our accounting functions, from closing the books to implementing new systems, all while contributing to the financial integrity of a truly innovative global enterprise. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Take ownership of the accuracy and integrity of all financial statements and records.
Develop and implement scalable accounting processes and policies to support the company’s rapid expansion.
Oversee and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
Actively participate in and lead financial system implementations and optimizations.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, expense report processing, and payroll administration.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Accounting, CFO, and VP of Accounting on strategic financial initiatives and reporting.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role, ideally within a high-growth environment.
Demonstrated expertise in managing full-cycle accounting operations, including financial closes, reporting, and internal controls.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; involvement in system implementations is a significant plus.
Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, remote work setting.
