As our Accounting Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in this mission, driving the automation of complex, multi-entity, multi-country financial processes. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement agentic AI solutions using Claude Code, alongside Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, to automate a broad spectrum of accounting tasks.
Revolutionize accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes through intelligent automation.
Streamline month-end close procedures and other day-to-day accounting operations, significantly reducing manual effort.
Ensure absolute accuracy in all automated entries, applying strong IFRS or US GAAP knowledge to guarantee financial integrity. An automation that posts incorrect entries is less effective than no automation at all.
Develop sophisticated AI agents and systems that learn and adapt, moving beyond rigid, rule-based workflows.
Collaborate closely with finance and engineering teams to understand evolving needs and deliver robust, scalable automation solutions.

Requirements

Proven expertise in IFRS or US GAAP, with a deep understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Demonstrable experience with Claude Code and agentic AI systems.
Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
A keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to data accuracy.
The ability to conceptualize, design, and implement complex automation solutions for a multi-entity, multi-country financial environment.
A proactive mindset, eager to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation.
Please note: Experience with rule-based workflow builders such as n8n or Zapier is not relevant to this specialized role. We are building intelligent agents, not fixed step-by-step sequences.
