LGC Group is looking for an experienced Accounting and Tax Manager to take full ownership of statutory accounting and tax functions for their German entities during a crucial transition period. Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate annual statutory financial statements for all German operating entities.
Lead, mentor, and support two dedicated General Ledger Accountants.
Manage the outsourced accounting provider by resolving technical challenges and refining workflows.
Coordinate the annual external audit from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery of all documentation.
Review income statements, approve journal entries, and oversee month-end close activities.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex Procure-to-Pay accounting questions.
Partner with external advisors to coordinate German corporate income tax returns.
Guide ongoing tax audits covering corporate tax, VAT, and property tax.
Maintain strong relationships with local tax authorities and external partners while overseeing withholding tax compliance.
