We are looking for a professional who brings hands-on experience developing in RPG/RPGLE on IBM AS400/iSeries, alongside a proven track record with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development tools. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates worldwide, offering you the flexibility to contribute from your ideal work environment. We are specifically looking for a developer, not an infrastructure administrator, a JD Edwards functional consultant, or someone whose AS400 experience does not include JD Edwards. Your expertise will span both platforms, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, modify, debug, and meticulously maintain RPG, RPGLE, and CL programs running on our IBM AS400/iSeries environments.
Skillfully analyze and resolve a range of technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and urgent production incidents.
Create, customize, and provide crucial support for various JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions.
Engage with vital JD Edwards modules, including Financials, Inventory, Distribution, Procurement, and Manufacturing, ensuring their smooth operation.
Craft and refine essential JD Edwards components. This includes:
- Business Functions
- UBEs (Batch Reports)
- Named Event Rules (NERs)
- Table Conversions
- Business Views
Utilize Object Management Workbench (OMW) effectively for managing and deploying your development efforts within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Actively participate in system integrations, ensuring our diverse platforms communicate efficiently and reliably.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring a robust set of skills and experiences. We need a candidate who can work technically across both our AS400 and JD Edwards platforms, troubleshoot production issues effectively, modify existing customizations with precision, and contribute significantly to system integrations. Demonstrated hands-on experience developing in RPG/RPGLE on IBM AS400/iSeries.
