The Role: Warehouse Supervisor
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations at our NutriK FZE facility. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the safe, efficient, and compliant storage and distribution of materials. You will lead a dedicated team to maintain exceptional inventory accuracy, strict food safety standards, and seamless support to our manufacturing and logistics pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Supervise the daily warehouse activities, including the reception, safe storage, precise picking, packing, and timely dispatch of all inventory.
- Quality & Food Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and product quality protocols, utilizing standard rotation methods like First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO).
- Production Support: Actively coordinate with the Production Department to ensure an uninterrupted, seamless flow of raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Inventory & ERP Management: Maintain highly accurate electronic inventory records within the company ERP/stock management system. Conduct regular physical audits, identify discrepancies, and resolve variances quickly.
- Safety & Sanitation: Implement, monitor, and enforce workplace health and safety rules. Maintain pristine warehouse cleanliness and guarantee pest-free storage conditions at all times.
- Leadership & Development: Manage, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to foster a highly productive, safety-conscious work culture.
- Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive inventory, expiration, and KPI reports for management review.
Required Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in inventory control and a deep understanding of food manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on warehouse or logistics experience, ideally within a food manufacturing or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard warehouse ERP software.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety management systems (HACCP, GMP, and hygiene regulations) alongside solid FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Key Competencies: Exceptional leadership, communication in English, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to work under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
