If you are a logistics or supply chain professional looking to build a rewarding career with an industry leader, this is your opportunity to shine. The role requires initial training based in Lagos, with candidates expected to be willing to relocate to other states across the country upon request.
Core Job Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Keeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity, safety, and efficiency of our warehouse operations. Your main duties will include:
- Goods Receiving & Data Entry: Verify the quantity, model, and physical appearance of incoming stock against Purchase Orders (POs) before signing off. Print and affix barcode labels, store goods in designated zones by category, and promptly update receiving data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure complete physical-vs-system consistency.
- Accurate Picking & Outbound Delivery: Pick and double-check stock strictly according to sales or transfer orders. Coordinate with loaders to obtain the driver’s signature upon shipment, update outbound data in real time, and systematically file relevant documents to guarantee zero delivery errors.
- Inventory Custody & Environment Control: Enforce the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory rule strictly. Maintain neat stacking and clear aisles in assigned warehouse areas. Implement and monitor dust-proof, moisture-proof, and fire-proof safety measures, conducting regular physical inspections to report any abnormalities immediately.
- Inventory Execution & Accounting Management: Participate actively in monthly full stock inventories and daily cyclical inventory counts. Proactively investigate the root causes of any discrepancies, update bin cards and system inventory data in real time to achieve "daily reconciliation," and assist in the strategic management of slow-moving or near-expiry stock.
- 5S Management & Safety Compliance: Maintain top-tier cleanliness and order in your assigned zones, ensuring all tools are returned to their designated locations. Strictly adhere to 5S standards and warehouse safety rules (e.g., no smoking/open flames), proactively identify and report safety hazards, and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly.
