About the Role: Warehouse General Labor III
As a Warehouse General Labor III, you will be instrumental in the daily operational execution of all warehouse activities. This encompasses managing storage facilities, maintaining accurate onsite inventories, and meticulously handling transaction processes crucial for supporting our extensive operations. Your primary responsibilities will directly align with our site's strategic priorities, focusing on operational integrity, reliability, efficiency, effectiveness, strategic alignment, and the development of our people.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Perform a diverse range of general manual labor tasks within the warehouse environment, including the lifting and careful movement of materials, as well as the efficient loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Execute day-to-day warehouse activities across all facets of operations, including but not limited to, goods receiving, accurate issuing, secure storage, and other fundamental warehouse functions.
- Ensure all operations adhere strictly to effective safety, security, and controls performance standards, meeting both internal benchmarks and global industry requirements.
- Operate consistently with established procedures, internal controls, and the comprehensive Procurement Warehouse Handbook.
- Undertake administrative activities to robustly support operations, utilizing ERP systems (such as SAP R/3), spreadsheets, databases, and other relevant tools.
- Maintain regular, clear communication with Business Unit Clients, Procurement Colleagues, and Suppliers regarding day-to-day operational matters.
- Operate with minimal work direction, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
- Leverage extensive skills and knowledge pertinent to the position, acting as an expert in the field.
- Provide guidance and direction to other team members as and when required, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable environment.
Qualifications and Skills We Are Looking For:
- Possess a strong, ingrained awareness of safety protocols, security measures, and control procedures.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge in Warehouse Management, Materials Distribution, and Inventory Control requirements and basic standards.
- Exhibit extensive proficiency with SAP R/3 and general warehousing technologies, ensuring seamless system integration and data management.
- Showcase excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective and professional interfacing with Clients, Procurement Colleagues, and Suppliers.
- Be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel, for daily administrative and reporting tasks.
