About the Role
As a UI/UX / Product Design Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality training and transforming beginners into job-ready product designers. You will lead both theoretical sessions and hands-on practical learning experiences, ensuring that every student understands how to create intuitive, user-centered digital products that meet modern industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive curriculum covering user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and design systems.
- Master industry-standard tools, with a primary focus on Figma and modern design workflows.
- Guide students through usability testing methodologies and portfolio development.
- Assess student assignments, projects, and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Mentor learners, track their progress, and foster a creative, supportive, and professional learning environment.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience in UI/UX Design or Product Design.
- Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard design tools (especially Figma).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts into easily digestible lessons.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is considered a strong added advantage.
- Candidates residing within the Ayobo axis or nearby locations in Lagos will be given preferential consideration.
