Women Environmental Programme (WEP) is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for passionate ICT professionals. As part of the WomenPower2030: Feminist Accelerate Action for Sustainable Development project, WEP is inviting qualified trainers to facilitate a comprehensive 3-month Digital Skills Development Programme. This initiative is dedicated to empowering young girls, women, and persons with disabilities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, equipping them with essential digital competencies for employment, entrepreneurship, and advocacy.

About the Programme

Running for a duration of 12 weeks, this in-person training initiative focuses on 'Office Suite Essentials' and foundational digital literacy. The goal is to bridge the digital gender divide and provide marginalized groups with the practical tools they need to thrive in today’s modern economy. We are looking for dedicated educators who can make learning accessible, engaging, and impactful.

Trainer Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inclusive, and beginner-friendly ICT training sessions tailored to diverse learning speeds.
• Develop and share simple lesson plans, hands-on activities, and effective evaluation tools.
• Support learners through personalized mentorship and practical, real-world exercises.
• Monitor and report on participant progress, challenges, and overall training outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with the WEP team to ensure a safe, encouraging, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Degree, Diploma, or recognized certification in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating digital skills training or coaching learners in Office Suite and related technologies.
• Proficiency in the tools and technologies relevant to the course.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working with women, youth, or persons with disabilities is a strong added advantage.
• An inherent ability to create an inclusive and empowering learning environment.
• Must be based in Abuja and fully committed to being physically available for the duration of the 12-week programme.
