Since its incorporation, Stockgap Fuels has established itself as a leader in the distribution of refined petroleum products and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), utilizing both direct international imports and strategic alliances with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation to serve the nation's energy needs.
The Role
As the Stock & Logistics Officer, you will play a critical role in managing the company's inventory lifecycle. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and safe storage environment, ensuring that all materials are accurately tracked, recorded, and distributed efficiently to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of stock, confirming availability, receiving shipments, and verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
- Operations Oversight: Efficiently issue stock to workers, monitor consumption rates, and proactively identify re-order points to prevent shortages.
- A.G.O Coordination: Manage the dispatch and transfer of A.G.O to various locations, including the execution of quality tests and detailed usage analysis.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records through weekly physical counts and generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly stock status reports.
- Logistics Liaison: Collaborate with the procurement team to track requisition statuses and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 - 20 years of robust experience in supply chain operations.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access) and familiarity with bookkeeping.
- Prior experience with supply chain software such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, or Envision is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
