Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Planning: Generate daily Load Manifests and Packing Lists from Navision by 4:00 PM, strategically planning customer orders according to assigned routes for the next day's deliveries.
Fleet & Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate daily preventive maintenance checks on distribution trucks with the 3PL Manager, review status reports, and ensure all vehicles remain clean, properly maintained, and fully compliant with valid documentation, permits, and licenses.
Route Optimization: Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to implement fixed delivery routes for new customers, track route schedule compliance, and continuously optimize the route network.
Operations & Performance Tracking: Monitor truck performance metrics, oversee last-mile distribution efficiency, mentor 3PL Managers and drivers, and drive operational targets including zero unshipped customer orders.
Compliance & Reporting: Adhere strictly to Health and Safety standards, prepare daily reports of ready-to-deliver orders and available trucks, and reconcile completed trip reports with 3PL partners to initiate timely payment processes.

Candidate Requirements

Education: HND or B.Sc. in any Science-related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant work experience in distribution, logistics, or fleet operations.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of fleet management, fundamental trucking operations, and major road networks across Nigeria (an added advantage).
Skills & Competencies: High level of assertiveness, strong problem-solving capabilities, basic managerial and leadership skills, and the ability to handle confidential company information with utmost discretion.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent influencing and collaborative work style that promotes teamwork across diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
