Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly for official assignments.
- Transport staff, sensitive laboratory samples, and other materials securely as required.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fully roadworthy at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyres, etc.) and report any mechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, regulations, and company transport policies.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of items when necessary.
- Maintain punctuality, professionalism, honesty, and a polite disposition at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or an equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous professional driving experience, preferably within a healthcare, corporate, or similar structured organization, will be an added advantage.
- Must possess a valid Nigerian driver’s license with relevant categories.
- Proven clean driving record and strong, practical knowledge of Lagos and Badagry road networks.
- Careful, responsible, and highly safety-conscious attitude.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate effectively in basic English.
- Flexibility to work varied hours when required and absolute trustworthiness.
