As a Shop Floor Attendant, you will serve as the face of the Buymore brand. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers enjoy a seamless, pleasant, and efficient shopping experience, while keeping our retail spaces organized and beautifully presented. Key Responsibilities

Your duties will span customer service, floor management, and operational execution to maintain the high standards of Buymore Supermarket:

1. Customer Service Excellence

Represent the Buymore brand positively by ensuring all customers feel welcomed and supported.
Greet customers warmly, ascertain their shopping needs, and guide them to the appropriate sections.
Deliver exceptional service to drive sales and ensure customer retention, adhering strictly to company guidelines.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current in-store sales, promotional campaigns, payment methods, and exchange policies.
Provide accurate and helpful answers to customer questions regarding product specifications and services.

2. Floor Management and Merchandising

Organize the shop floor and arrange merchandise on shelves in a neat, professional, and visually appealing manner.
Monitor stock levels on the display floor to ensure racks and shelves are fully stocked at all times.
Ensure all display items are correctly labeled with up-to-date and accurate pricing tags.
Maintain pristine hygiene and neatness standards by performing daily cleaning of shelves, tables, and products.
Stay vigilant of security risks and potential inventory shrinkage, following standard protocol to prevent or handle security situations.

3. Operational Execution

Ensure complete compliance with all operational procedures, standards, and company policies.
Protect and safely manage all company assets, whether owned or leased.
Replenish display shelves by retrieving items from the inventory stock room as needed.
Actively communicate customer feedback and product requests to the procurement department to help update inventory with high-demand items.
Regularly inspect products and notify the inventory department of upcoming expiration dates.
Share regular customer insights and feedback directly with the Store Manager to help improve the overall shopping experience.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification.
A strong work ethic, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of shelf stocking.
Attention to detail, vigilance, and basic problem-solving skills.
