The Opportunity: Senior Python Developer (Full Stack)

We are searching for a passionate and experienced Python developer to play a pivotal role in building our next-generation AI data model. You will be responsible for developing applications primarily in Python, leveraging frameworks like Django, and working with tools such as Cvat, among others.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using the Python programming language, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Participate actively throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to building, testing, and delivering solutions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to identify complex problems and devise innovative solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that adheres to best practices, ensuring maintainability and future extensibility.
Design and implement large-scale data processing pipelines, enabling developers to build and train novel machine learning algorithms efficiently.

Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications)

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in computer science and extensive practical experience:

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Python Developer, complemented by a strong portfolio showcasing successful A.I. projects.
Python Ecosystem Mastery: In-depth understanding and practical experience with the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks, and essential data science tools such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
Full-Stack Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Database Acumen: Familiarity with various database technologies, encompassing both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
Framework Expertise: Proven experience with popular Python web frameworks, particularly Django.
AI/ML Knowledge: Solid understanding of data science and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and associated tools.

Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive monthly salary ranging from N700,000 to N800,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
