About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for actively driving identified IT project opportunities within government ministries, agencies, and parastatals towards successful approval and award. You will act as a crucial bridge between PG Consulting and key government stakeholders, ensuring smooth navigation through complex public procurement processes and overcoming bureaucratic bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving IT Project Approvals & Awards: Take ownership of identified IT project opportunities and ensure they progress seamlessly through necessary government channels.
- Follow-Ups & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain consistent, proactive communication with government agencies and decision-makers to keep project approvals on track.
- Strategic Influence & Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with government officials, procurement officers, and regulatory bodies, positioning PG Consulting as a trusted IT solutions provider.
- Policy Monitoring: Stay informed on government policies and procurement trends to uncover new business opportunities and future collaborations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Political Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in government sales, liaison, business development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and public-sector operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills tailored for senior government engagement.
- Proven ability to track and follow up on project approvals to guarantee timely execution.
Preferred: Experience in IT-related government projects, an existing strong network within government agencies in Abuja, and familiarity with e-Government initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
PG Consulting Limited rewards high performance and dedication. The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between N4,000,000 and N5,000,000 per annum, complemented by lucrative performance-based incentives, bonuses, and commissions tied directly to successful project acquisitions.
