As a Security Officer at Divine Mercy Specialist Hospital, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our healthcare facility. Your vigilance ensures that our doctors, nurses, and support staff can focus on saving lives in a secure environment, and that patients feel safe and welcomed during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, patients, and visitors to guard against theft and maintain security on the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the hospital buildings, perimeters, and parking areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry.
Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations, medical crises, and security alarms.
Investigate disturbances, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and write detailed reports of daily activities or unusual occurrences.
Provide outstanding customer service by assisting visitors and patients with directions and general inquiries in a polite manner.
Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to ensure the absolute safety of the facility.

Requirements and Qualifications

Possess relevant academic qualifications (SSCE, OND, or equivalent).
Proven experience working as a security officer or in a similar role; prior experience in a hospital or corporate environment is highly desirable.
Excellent observation skills and high attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly.
High level of integrity, physical fitness, and mental alertness.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as healthcare is a 24/7 service.
