Job Purpose
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the IMA Project. You will be responsible for helping the project achieve its security objectives through technical and operational expertise in security operations and administration. Additionally, you will facilitate daily project operations by ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant land transportation for company personnel, partners, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As the Security & Logistics Coordinator, your duties will span across two major critical areas: security coordination and logistics management. Your specific responsibilities will include:
Security Coordination & Risk Management:- Advise project management on security matters across all phases of the IMA project development.
- Coordinate, supervise, and lead the project site security team.
- Conduct comprehensive security risk and vulnerability assessments, implementing robust security strategies accordingly.
- Contribute to the preparation of Logistics and Security budgets and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
- Review contractors' security plans and develop bridging documents to manage shared responsibilities.
- Deliver security inductions for project personnel and Government Security Forces (GSF).
- Identify and address international and national security requirements affecting the project.
- Audit company and contractor security activities, equipment, and sites, and follow up diligently on audit recommendations.
- Liaise with the site security team to plan and execute regular security exercises and drills.
- Ensure safe and timely land transportation for company personnel and goods.
- Oversee all land transport operations to ensure complete compliance with the Company Land Transport Management System (LTMS) and HSE/Driving policies.
- Manage drivers on a day-to-day basis to maintain cordial industrial harmony.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly drivers' HSE meetings, safety training, and leave schedules in liaison with the FM&A team.
- Oversee the supply, installation, and maintenance of In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) and Driving Improvement & Monitoring Systems (DIMS), and follow up on monthly reports.
- Carry out detailed investigations of road transport incidents in conjunction with the FM&A Transport QA/QC Officer and the HSE department.
- Prepare regular land transport activity reports and make strategic recommendations to the Travels Management Manager.
Ideal Profile & Requirements
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate strong leadership, deep knowledge of safety protocols, and a proactive approach to risk management. The ideal candidate should meet the following expectations:
- Strict adherence and commitment to all TotalEnergies Affiliate and Project security policies, specifically the Company Security Management System.
- Proven experience in monitoring and controlling transport operations to guarantee the safety of personnel, road users, and cargo.
- A strong commitment to the continuous education, training, and defensive driving behavior of project drivers, alongside a firm accountability for sanctions policy implementation.
- Prior experience managing IVMS/DIMS installations and analytics.
