Key Responsibilities

Security Champion: Act as the primary advocate for security within product teams, influencing design decisions from the very beginning.
Secure Architecture: Lead threat modeling and ensure that new features are built upon a foundation of secure architecture.
CI/CD Integration: Promote secure coding standards by automating security checks within the pipeline and conducting thorough peer reviews.
Vulnerability Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of security risks, from identification and risk-based triage to final remediation.
Hands-on Testing: Conduct penetration testing and utilize automated tools to uncover and mitigate vulnerabilities across diverse platforms.
Mentorship: Foster a culture of security awareness by mentoring developers and providing actionable feedback on security best practices.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

3–5 years of hands-on experience in AppSec or DevSecOps.
A background in software engineering with a strong desire to specialize in security (at least 2 years of engineering experience is preferred).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security.
Deep familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical security risks and business requirements.
Relevant certifications like OSCP, OSCE, or GXPN are considered a plus.
