Key Responsibilities: Driving Operational Excellence and People Development

As our School Administrator, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and a positive work environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operational Leadership: Overseeing the entire spectrum of daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Policy Development: Developing, implementing, and continually refining administrative policies and procedures to meet best practices.
  • Human Resources Management: Taking charge of the full HR lifecycle, from staff recruitment and seamless onboarding to comprehensive performance management and fostering positive employee relations.
  • Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintaining meticulous employee records and ensuring strict compliance with all relevant labour laws and school policies.
  • Professional Development: Coordinating valuable staff training and professional development initiatives to enhance our team's capabilities.
  • Team Supervision: Supervising administrative and support staff, guiding them towards optimal operational efficiency.
  • Reporting & Budgeting: Preparing insightful reports, managing budgets, and handling all necessary administrative documentation for senior management.
  • Student & Admissions Coordination: Efficiently coordinating admissions processes, managing student records, and handling all crucial school documentation.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring steadfast compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements to maintain our high standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Fostering clear, effective communication channels between management, staff, parents, and essential external stakeholders.

Who We Are Looking For: Your Profile

To excel in this role, you should possess a compelling blend of academic qualification, professional experience, and critical skills:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in school administration, with demonstrable responsibility for both HR and comprehensive administrative operations.
  • HR Certification: Possession of a professional HR certification, such as CIPM, is a distinct advantage and highly valued.
  • Advanced Qualifications: A Postgraduate Degree or Professional Certification in Educational Administration or School Leadership will be an added advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with School Management Software.
  • Legal & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Nigerian Labour Laws, employee relations best practices, and school regulatory compliance.
