Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Daily Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the educational system to ensure efficiency and order.
  • Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records, including student attendance, enrollment/admissions, health logs, and academic transcripts.
  • Staff Coordination & Development: Manage staff schedules, assist with the hiring, onboarding, and training of support staff, and monitor staff attendance.
  • Facilities & Event Coordination: Schedule the use of school facilities, coordinate parent-teacher conferences, and oversee general school maintenance needs.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, or any other related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on working experience specifically as a school administrator.
  • HR & Performance Management: Demonstrated ability to handle staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance appraisals for both academic and non-academic staff.
  • Professional Certification: Possession of a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate is considered a strong advantage.
