About the Role: Production Officer

Garment Care Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Officer to join their dynamic operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial laundry machines, as well as executing washing, ironing, and upholstery cleaning activities utilizing modern equipment and approved chemicals. This position ensures that all garments, fabrics, and upholstery materials are properly cleaned, treated, finished, and handled to meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate industrial washing, drying, ironing, and cleaning machines with precision.
Perform comprehensive laundry processing, including washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing.
Clean and maintain upholstery using specialized equipment and professional cleaning chemicals.
Handle and apply cleaning chemicals strictly according to established safety procedures.
Inspect cleaned items thoroughly to ensure exceptional quality standards are consistently met.
Sort, label, and prepare items efficiently for delivery or further processing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Promptly report any equipment issues, damages, or quality concerns to supervisors.
Adhere strictly to company safety procedures and daily production guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous experience in industrial laundry, garment care, upholstery cleaning, manufacturing, or related roles is a distinct advantage.
Comprehensive training will be provided for suitable candidates, making a willingness to learn paramount.
Minimum of a secondary school education or its equivalent.
Strong willingness to learn and operate modern cleaning equipment.
Demonstrated ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when required by operational demands.
