Key Responsibilities

Inspect fabrics, trims, and other materials thoroughly before production begins.
Conduct rigorous quality checks at various stages of production to ensure compliance with company standards.
Examine finished garments for defects, including stitching errors, incorrect measurements, fabric flaws, loose threads, stains, and poor finishing.
Verify that garments strictly align with approved samples, measurement specifications, and design requirements.
Collaborate closely with tailors, pattern makers, and production staff to identify and resolve quality concerns promptly.
Document quality issues, prepare detailed inspection reports, and recommend preventive actions to reduce recurring defects.
Verify that final products are properly pressed, packaged, and ready for seamless delivery.
Monitor rework and alterations to ensure all corrections meet strict quality guidelines.
Assist in the continuous development and implementation of quality control procedures and checklists.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in quality control within the fashion or garment manufacturing industry.
Skills: Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing techniques, various fabrics, and finishing processes.
Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Technical Skills: Good communication and reporting skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office as an added advantage.
