About the Role
As a PDX Data Clerk, you will be the backbone of our data operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of project data. This position is primarily field-based but requires significant office presence (95-100%) to manage databases, perform quality control, and maintain secure filing systems. You will work closely with our M&E Officer to ensure our life-saving strategies are backed by reliable data.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the timely, accurate, and complete entry of project data into reporting platforms.
- Perform daily data cleaning and quality control to maintain high data integrity.
- Maintain secure electronic and hard copy filing systems for all project documentation.
- Resolve data queries in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Uphold strict patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical data protection guidelines.
- Support the preparation of reports to meet donor requirements.
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about public health and committed to our vision of a world free of tuberculosis. To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer applications and experience with the Kobo-Collect tool.
- Experience in public health, research projects, or clinical/hospital settings is highly preferred.
- Exceptional accuracy, analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex relationships.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
