A global staffing agency based in Lagos is currently seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee multi-branch retail operations for a major client in the consumer electronics, home appliances, gadgets, and technology retail industry.

This is a senior leadership position designed for an execution-driven leader who can seamlessly manage geographically dispersed teams, implement operational standards, and drive both efficiency and profitability across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

As the Operations Manager, your role will span multiple critical business functions designed to keep all retail outlets running at peak performance:

• Multi-Branch Operations Management: Provide daily operational leadership to branches in different states. Ensure absolute consistency in policy implementation, customer service, and branch compliance while conducting regular site visits to monitor efficiency.
• Branch Performance Management: Track sales KPIs, foot traffic, and stock velocity. Analyze financial and operational reports to develop action plans that uplift underperforming branches.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Oversight: Partner with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain stock accuracy, coordinate transfers, and minimize shrinkage.
• Customer Experience & After-Sales: Build robust systems to capture customer feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and handle warranties and service requests smoothly.
• People Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and coach branch managers, foster a high-performance team culture, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Financial & Strategic Planning: Manage operational budgets, control overhead costs, and assist senior leadership in executing growth and expansion strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This is a senior role requiring a seasoned retail professional. To qualify, you must possess:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Operations Management, Regional Operations, or multi-site Branch Management. Direct experience in consumer electronics, gadgets, or home appliances retail is highly preferred.
• Mobility: A willingness to travel regularly across different states to supervise branch operations.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using modern ERP or retail inventory management systems.

Compensation and Benefits
