Key Responsibilities
As the Operational Manager, you will be the cornerstone of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running, staff efficiency, and financial growth. Your core duties will include:
- Daily Restaurant Operations: Manage and streamline all daily activities of the restaurant to ensure peak performance.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and supervise staff members, fostering a collaborative environment that maintains high performance.

- Quality Control & Hygiene: Ensure strict adherence to food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and general operational standards.
- Inventory & Waste Management: Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels, and implement strategies to minimize wastage.
- Workforce Planning: Design and manage staff schedules, planning daily workforce distribution effectively.
- Financial & Performance Reporting: Review and analyze daily sales, cash reconciliations, and overall operational reports.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor operational costs and implement innovative strategies to enhance restaurant profitability.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Procurement, Finance, and other support units to achieve organizational milestones.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a blend of leadership experience, financial acumen, and hands-on hospitality expertise. Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
- General Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry.
- Niche Experience: At least 3 years specifically in Restaurant Management. Prior experience in a reputable fast-food chain, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Chinese restaurant, or fine-dining establishment is highly desirable.
- Core Skills: Strong leadership, effective communication, and exceptional people-management capabilities.
- Analytical Abilities: Proven financial awareness, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
