The Role

As a Logistics Officer at Lumos, you will play a critical role in the heartbeat of our supply chain. You will be responsible for the seamless coordination of the movement, storage, documentation, and final delivery of our solar products. Your efforts will ensure that our high-value solar components—ranging from panels and inverters to mounting structures—reach our customers and project sites safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the full lifecycle of solar equipment, from receipt and warehouse storage to final dispatch and delivery.
Operations Planning: Plan and monitor logistics schedules while collaborating closely with warehouse staff, sales teams, and transport partners to maintain high operational efficiency.
Inventory Integrity: Maintain precise records of all stock movements, waybills, and delivery notes. Perform regular stock audits to ensure that physical inventory aligns with our management systems.
Quality Control: Supervise the careful handling, packaging, and storage of fragile solar equipment to minimize damage and loss.
Reporting and Compliance: Monitor performance metrics including fuel consumption and driver efficiency, while ensuring all logistics activities adhere to safety standards and company policies.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify logistics bottlenecks, stock shortages, or delivery delays and implement effective solutions to keep our operations running smoothly.
